Upward Broadband Nears Completion of Huntingdon County


Tier 1 Expansion Paradise, PA - Upward Broadband, a local, family-owned broadband internet provider, has installed fixed wireless internet equipment on 7 out of the 11 towers planned for their tier 1 expansion in Huntingdon County.

The expansion project began with funding awarded to Huntingdon County by the American Rescue Plan Act. The project brings reliable, high-speed internet service to a previously vastly underserved areas of the county.

As of November 2022, the Upward Broadband team has installed equipment on towers in Saulsburg, Cooper Lane, Mount Union, Ennisville, Shirleysburg, Round Knob, Pine Grove Mills, and Hesston. Work continues progressing on towers in Orbisonia, Neelyton, Shade Gap, and Burnt Cabins.
