Mid-Level Provider (Psychiatric NP)

Broad Top Area Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a mid-level provider (Psychiatric NP) motivated to provide high-quality, affordable behavioral health care without discrimination as part of our Federally Qualified Health Center.  We strive to provide patient-centered, integrated, team-based care.  You will work with our nursing care coordination managers, behavioral health consultants, psychiatrists, and primary care providers to expand our current services to the residents of Huntingdon County, PA and the surrounding region.
 
Provider will be an employee of Broad Top Area Medical Center, Inc.  with your own patient panel and a collaborating psychiatrist.

Qualifications:
  • PMHNP or CRNP with mental health/psychiatric practice interest, experience
  • Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania or able to be licensed in Pennsylvania as part of hiring/onboarding
  • DEA registration including controlled substance prescribing.
We are seeking a provider who is comfortable working with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, and who is willing to prescribe medications for the treatment of substance use disorders as needed.  Primary target population for MOUD prescribing for maintaining long-term recovery more than new inductions.   Education and training for MAT/MOUD prescribing is available, and the Behavioral Health/Mental Health Director has experience in developing high-quality MAT programming which adheres to evidence-based clinical standards.
