Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce Announces “Where Is Santa Hiding?” Holiday Giveaway

HUNTINGDON COUNTY, PA — The Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the launch of a brand-new holiday promotion, “Where Is Santa Hiding?”, running December 6 through December 13, 2025. This festive community activity invites residents to explore local businesses, find Santa, take a photo, and enter to win a prize—all while supporting Huntingdon County’s small businesses.

To kick off the event, December 6 and 7 will feature TWO Santa locations each day:

  • One live Santa greeting visitors at a participating business
  • One Santa display (our “fake Santa”) hidden at another location
Participants may find and photograph either Santa to enter.
From December 8 through December 13, Santa will appear exclusively as a “fake Santa” display (complete with is very own Chamber name badge), continuing the fun at participating businesses throughout the week.

How to Participate:
  1. Visit participating businesses and find Santa.
  2. Take a photo with Santa (live or display).
  3. Post the photo on Facebook.
  4. Use the hashtags #SantaLovesLocalBiz and #ChamberHolidayHunt.
  5. Tag the Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce.
Participants will then be entered into a drawing for a prize.
  6. If you do not wish to use social media to enter, we will have a box for paper entries available at each location.
Confirmed Santa Hiding Locations:
  • Cassville Country Store
  • Checker's Grill
  • Gardners Candies
    Hometown Pub
  • Lake Rays' Nutrition
  • Lincoln Caverns, Inc.
    Standing Stone Coffee Company
  • Tastes of Home Bakery
Additional participating locations may be announced as they confirm their involvement.
To make the hunt even more exciting, the Chamber will release daily clues to Santa’s location on its Facebook page throughout the week, encouraging families and shoppers to explore, engage, and enjoy the holiday spirit.

“This event is a fun way to celebrate the season while reminding residents that our small businesses are the heart of Huntingdon County,” said the Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce President/CEO, MacKenzie Huntsman. “We’re excited to see families and shoppers participate, support local, and enjoy this new tradition.”
