Location: Juniata College, Huntingdon, PA
Annualized Salary Range: $46,300 – $55,600 (with full benefits)
Schedule: Full-time, possibility of 10, 11 or 12 month appointment
Do you have a passion for supporting student success and fostering inclusivity? Juniata College is seeking a Testing and Accessibility Coordinator to join our Student Accessibility Services team. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to make a difference in the lives of students.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage daily operations of our Testing Center, including scheduling, exam proctoring, and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.
- Coordinate student testing accommodations such as extended time, separate testing environments, and adaptive equipment.
- Support students in using assistive technology and alternative-format learning materials (braille, large print, electronic formats, etc.).
- Partner with faculty and staff to ensure timely and accessible course materials.
- Help cultivate a welcoming, inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Bachelor’s degree and previous professional work experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A commitment to promoting equity and inclusion in higher education.
- Willingness to learn assistive technology and accessibility practices.
Experience in education, disability services, or related fields; familiarity with accessibility software and adaptive technology.
